You drew an acute angle on the marker board to teach
our children geometry. I drew eyelashes on it, later that night, to
be funny. It’s a joke we’ve shared since high school. Oh! What
an acute angle! Coo coo! I’m about to go to sleep and you to
wake and start your day. The eyelashes are a way of saving
our place until our schedules line up at the right angle. They flit
at you softly, as if to say, let me whisper the midnight secret.
